Description

Red Sapote, also known as Mamey Sapote, is a fruit with a creamy, soft, and pinkish-orange to reddish flesh. It has a unique flavor profile, often described as a mix of sweet potato, pumpkin, and honey, with hints of peach or apricot. The fruit is typically round to oval, ranging from 10 to 25 cm in length and 8 to 12 cm in width, and can weigh between 400g to 1.5kg. Its skin is brown, thick, and semi-rough.
